Dutch built floating crane underway towards Argentina according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Schiedamsche Courant dated 5 May 1923

An item reported the departure on 28th April by a floating rotating and derrick crane from the shipyard Gusto firm A.F. Smulders built for account of the Argentinean cabinet and destined towards the Puerto Militar, Bahia Blanca, Argentina. Dimensions pontoon 39 x 19,5 x 4,7 (hold) metres. Lifting capacity. The boom with a length of 50 metres was especially disassembled into two parts tightened to the deck of the pontoon. The crane was by the Dutch tug Gelderland master Dirk Spruyt of Bureau Wijsmuller towed to her destination.(1)
